Last week, I wanted to watch From Paris with Love with my girl... Wanted to see some action together with comedy... The only cinema in Melaka showing the movie is the Mahkota Parade's Lotus Five Star Cinema... 

However, I couldn't watch it because there was no show... Nobody had bought the tickets and in order for the movie to be shown, there must be at least 5 people watching it... Bummer...

So, we watched How to Train Your Dragon instead... and it was freakin' awesome... The graphic was great and it was funny... The dragons were quite cute (especially Night Fury)... good idea to make Toothless act a bit like a cat... and the action parts were rather breath taking... I love the fight between Toothless and Hiccup and the giant dragon... Astrid was extremely cute... :-D

For those who have not watched it might be wondering, who's Astrid? Who the hell is Toothless?? Go watch it!! :-P

What's next? Clash of the TITANS!!!!!!!

Riding my bicycle against the wind makes me feel like being in a movie scene where the camera is focused on me and my bicycle so my surroundings will all be distorted into thin colorful lines with a variety of length and width... Then as I make a turn to the right route of a t-junction, the picture will look like as if the camera  is getting further and further away from me, turning my image smaller and smaller and then after a few seconds, I will be gone...

During the last school assembly, after the national, state and school anthems had been played, the theme song for Sukma 2010 was aired through the old, almost broken speaker... The beat and rhythm of the song was so lively, I actually kinda liked it... Then I looked at all the students and suddenly, the image of them dancing to the beat of the song appeared inside my head... Following the beat of the drums, the students in the front row started snapping their fingers together... The students at the back turned round and round and slowly spinning their way to the front as the ones at the front row made way for them... Then, they all were dancing around synchronously where one group of students were jumping around like bally dancers while the other group were spinning around like mad people... After that, when the song reached the chorus part, the Malay students made their way through to the middle of the assembly place and started dancing Zapin and played kompangs... Beside them were the Indians and Chinese dancing their own traditional dances... It was like a 1 Malaysia music and dance festival... Wow... would it be great if that really happen in real life, I thought... and I smiled... :-)

Dont mind me... I'm just a person with a wild imagination...

It's true that Asian people (mainly Chinese) are currently invading the world... But not only the people, one particular species of fish from Asia is also committing invasion overseas... Introducing the Asian Carp, the baddest river fish of all... 

See the size of it? The Asian carps are now invading the Illinois River and the Mississippi River... Their main food is plankton and algae but they also eat obtrusive snails... These guys consume so much, they steal all the food, leaving other species of fish starved to death... Some species which are the originally inhabitants of those rivers are going extinct because of them... 

...and they are not planning to stop... Their numbers are increasing and if nothing is done, they will be the sole inhabitants of most of American rivers and lakes...

They can grow so big that they clog subsidiary drainage systems...

Asian carps can jump up to 2 meters above the water surface and they are very dangerous for speed boat riders and jet skiers... The engine sound of water vehicles make the fish jump out from the water, causing injuries... Some cases of broken bones and bruises because of the collision with the carps have been reported... Check this out... 

Scientists and authorities are now putting their heads together to reduce the number of Asian carps in the rivers of USA... However, it looks like the carps are winning... How can u kill thousands of carps in the river? You certainly cant poison or electrocute them because other fishes will be affected too... Fishing them will take forever... 

How did they get into the States in the first place? Well, they have been brought from China to clean tanks... They are superb cleaners... then the flooding of Mississippi in the late 1990's have cause them to creep out of the tanks into lakes and rivers... By the time they were discovered, it was too late... 

You cant prevent the Asian invasion... We are taking over the world :-D

I was writing the notes for simple past tense on the blackboard when I sensed a burning aura from behind... I turned around to confirm who's the person who has given me so much pressure... I scanned every face of my 2F students and tried to sense any hint of disrespect or anger... All of them were happily chatting with each other, walking around the class and shouting without care... They were all so ignorant and in their own immature bliss... All of them except John... 

"Teacher!! I wanna fight!!" 

Suddenly, it all went silent... All other students were awaken from their ignorant world and be brought back into the classroom by John's shout... They were preoccupied then, but now they had sensed it too... John's aura... John's dissatisfaction... John's anger...

"Fight who?"

Before I could even blink, a desk flew over my head and smashed the blackboard behind me... Upon reaching the blackboard, one of its legs grazed the tip of my waxed semi-spiky hair... The rigid nature of the blackboard forced the desk to bounce back before landing a few centimeters away from my foot...

"I want to fight you..." 

I didnt even see when he threw that desk towards me... He's fast... Really fast...

A gust of wind suddenly came into the classroom forming a small tornado between where we stood as we faced each other... Other students quickly moved the chairs and desks that were blocking our path towards one another and turned the classroom into a fighting ring...

John was in front of me... and then he was gone... 

He vanished!! Was it teleportation?! No... I could still feel his presence in this classroom... He was there for less than a second and then he was here the next... He was everywhere... 

Speed... Irrelevant speed... John was so moving so fast that my eyes couldnt capture his movements... but I knew, his target was only me... He could land me a really powerful blow at any second... BOOOM!!! My gut felt like being hit by a speeding torpedo... My feet was lifted a few millimeters above the floor and I couldnt help faltering... Shit! With the momentum he gained from his incredible speed, he managed to turn his bare fish into a deadly weapon... Just imagine how a small bullet be able to penetrate walls once being pushed into high speed using the force generated by a rifle...

DUSHH!! The second punch hit slightly below my armpit, forcing the ribs to push aside the right lung of mine... However, this time I didnt falter... My stance was stable... My mind was at focus... I ignored the pain and closed my eyes...

When one sense is taken away, the other remaining senses become sharper... Without my sight, I could clearly hear John's foot steps... 100 steps per second... That's how fast he moved... My heart could sense his burning aura and my skin was sensitive to the movement of the wind... I could see him... I could see him using my third eye... The eye of the heart...

KAPPOWW!! Before John could strike the third blow, I clenched my right fist and delivered a fiery uppercut... SHORYUKENNN!!!!! 

My fist landed on his lower jaw and John was sent flying and straight into Mr. Alex's punishment chamber...

It was exam week and I was bored looking after these kids for an hour... My imagination just went wild... Hmm... I forgot to transform my hand into scaled mutated dragon claws...

As he let the water from the hose ran down his whole body from top to toe, Fahmi considered the thought of going back home to Terengganu deeply... Why are u refusing to go home? He asked himself while looking into the small, smudgy bathroom mirror... He held the hose slightly above his head and showered his body and soul as he looked for the answer...

"Is it because of the distance?" He questioned himself... "No... Well, yeah the 7 - 8 hours bus ride from Melaka to Terengganu is a pain in the ass (literally) but it's not it... I can endure the journey..."

The water seemed to be cooler when he remembered the text message his dad sent him just a few minutes ago... *Mlm ni call ma..ma rindu amy.-*...

"Yes ma... I miss u too..."

"Maybe the fact that there's nothing fun for me to do there is the reason I'm being reluctant... I would either just be sitting behind a desk entertaining annoying customers or sitting on a couch watching the fourth rerun of CSI..." His thoughts went deeper... He was sure that boredom is the rope pulling him away from the thoughts of home... "I would literally be counting the days until the moment I get on the bus to Melaka again... I cant really stand not being free..."

His mother once said he's the most obedient among the four brothers... The most pleasant... He never object nor whine when being asked to do something while the others are always rebellious... "Amy, jaga kedai..." "Amy, ambil pinggan kat dapur..." "Amy, sapu sampah..." "Amy this, Amy that..." Probably that's why he always be the one doing all the chores and looking after the shop...

He realised how deeply in thought he was when instead of applying a handful of shower cream to his bare chest, he put it on his head... Heh~ He smirked... He hosed down the soapy cream and applied another handful to his whole arms... 

He loves it whenever his mother wraps her arms around him as she rests her head on his right shoulder... A proper hug... That's what he calls it...  The warmth, the care, the love... Owh, how he longed for it... Though he rarely gets it... The only moment he has the chance to feel her embrace is when he was about to get into the bus to Melaka...

He missed her so much... So much that it hurt... 

When did it start? This reluctance... He remembered as a child he made a vow that he wont leave this small place... Being witnessed by the sky and greeneries, on the top of a small hill, he vowed that he wont leave Ketengah Jaya... and even if he have to, he would always come back... So why he has broken the vow?

Because he loves the freedom that he gained outside... He loves the cinemas and shopping malls... He enjoys his fun friends and companions... He cherishes the love that he found... and none of them can be found in Ketengah Jaya... 

Talking about love, he thought that his girlfriend could be one of the reasons... He cared for her so much and always worries about her being alone in Melaka, having nobody to send her to debate training or accompany her to eat dinner... He has spent so much time taking good care of her that he forgot that she can take care of herself...

"Sigh... I'm such a mess... 'Lupa daratan'... I'm like Remy Ishak in Nur Kasih... Hehe... Adam..."

"Balik la..." 

"Cuti ni aku balik..." he said to himself as the dried off his body using a blue towel... "Yeah!!"

Lets do our bit to help to at least slow down the climate change... I think most of u have noticed how hot it's getting nowadays... Well, the hot steamy weather is not just affecting us, but some species of animals are going extinct because of it... 

The pika mouse for instance is heading towards the dodo way... The thick fur covering its body is supposed to be a convenience for it to live at the cold mountains... but instead, the temperature of its habitat increases and the pikas cannot just shed its fur like a thick sweater, so many pikas died because of the heat... Just imagine yourself wearing a thick furry coat on a hot day...

*dont you think one of the Pokemon monsters, Pikachu was inspired by the pika? :-D

The polar bears are also being endangered for the ice in the Arctic is melting... The melting ice may also affect us as in the future, most islands will be submerged into the sea... I wonder whether Malaysia can survive the massive flood... :-D

There are actually many more effects of global warming... So lets do our part in conserving the world energy... Switch off those damn lights when u dont need them ;-) Besides saving energy, u can also save money for the bills...
