I'm back in Melaka folks...
SO, Here goes...
THE JOURNEY TO TERENGGANU
19th March 2009-
While sitting alone on a bench in Melaka Sentral, a tall guy walked pass me... He seemed familiar... very familiar... but, oh well, he didnt seem to know me, so I just let him be...
Walked around Melaka Sentral... saw that guy again in McD... VEry Very familiar indeed... Got more and more curious about that guy...
Got on the bus... Hey, that guy was on the same bus... Got more and more and more curious... "Who the heck is he?"
In the bus, While passing through the forest heading to Muadzam Shah, I looked up and saw this thing...
'Buruj Biduk'
Man, it felt incredible... First time seeing this, I got excited and stared at it for hours...
Got off the bus at Paka... Hey! That guy also got off the bus... I took the initiative to wave at him... What do you know, he's my former schoolmate... Havent heard of him for a while, so it was rather unexpected to see him like this... What a small world

THE EVENT
Got home at about 4.00 am... Damn sleepy... Opened the door and saw the whole house was filled with human figures lying on the floor... HAlf of my relatives was there... Crashed on the sofa...
7.00 am... Man, these people were loud... Couldnt continue sleeping coz they were making such a ruckus around the house... Mandi... then, it's working time
Arranged tables and chairs, buat air sirap, angkat lauk, tambah lauk, angkat pinggan mangkuk cawan, ulang alik ke dapur cari senduk, etc...
DAmn, air takde! Camne nak basuh pinggan? Called "SATU" (water company) four times but no action was taken... Resulted to polisterin plates and glasses...
Hujan! Lebat plak tu... (nah kau... nak sangat air...)
but the event went on...
makcik2 sebelah umah bergosip sambil kupas bawang
my dad (in dark blue) greeting people and keeping the whole event in order
my mom (in red baju kurung) greeting people inside the house
memerhati suami masing2 bekerja
Actually it wasnt a wedding but kinda like 'upacara menyambut pengantin perempuan'... the wedding took place on the last 14th March at Besut (my new Sis in law's place)... but mom told me not to come coz there were not enough cars to carry the whole generation there... 11 cars!! and still no room for little me...
Kalau aku kawin nanti, aku nak sewa bas 2 buah... angkut semua sekali...
Anyway, the event went fine... got tones of people coming around... Whoaa... my parents sure have many connections... My house was packed with people coming from all around Terengganu... I saw a few reunions happened... Setelah bertahun tahun tak dengar khabar berita, tak sangka akhirnya bertemu di rumah Pak Salam... terharu pakcik pakcik dan abang abang nih...
Casualty : my naughty little cousin fought with my other naughty little cousin in the bathroom... he kicked the bathroom door and his foot splitted open... 4 stitches but he was still up and running...
I got to see the better side of Mat Rempits... while the smart and educated looking fellas was busy doing nothing, the Rempits got their hands dirty setting up the tent, angkat/tambah lauk, kutip sampah, tambah air sirap, beli ais, angkat barang, angkat nasi, etc... Upah? rokok sebatang dua pun boleh...
Many neighbours came to colaborate with my family members cooking the lauk, siang ikan & ayam, kacau bubur, layan tetamu...
Apa yang penting?? KERJASAMA!!
Bangga aku tengok diorang semua ni bersatu hati buat kerja...
Selamat Pengantin Baru untuk Abang aku... Moga2 bahagia selama lamanya... Amin...
