Smile...

I was in Dr David's class one day and sleepiness was overwhelming me... It was so hard for me to open my eyes and I was really hoping that Dr David would give out the 5 minutes break in an instant... But as time passed by, hope slowly faded away... Damn, he could just go on and on for hours without stopping... I had to get out from this class! Even for awhile!! So I took the effort to rise from my seat and ask the permission to go to the gents... As I was finally out of the class, I headed straight to the benches beside the elevators... I was hoping that the heat from the sunshine coming through the glass windows behind the benches could remove the sleepiness... But as I was slowly approaching the benches, I noticed that there was a girl sitting on them... Well, she was cute with her hair fringed to the left of her forehead and she got the 'lesung pipit' on her cheeks... hmm... a little companion wouldnt hurt, I thought, though I knew that I wouldnt say anything to her anyway... I predicted there would be a silent moment between us for the next 5 minutes or so... As I walked a few metres more towards the benches, I could see her expression more clearer... and... she was smiling... Shit, she was awesomely cute...

I was pretty sure that she was smiling towards me as we had our eyes locked... So, what would u do if a person smiles at u?? Of course u should be smiling back!! I returned her smile with my usual grin... In split seconds, my mind pushed me to utter a mere "Hi..."

but before my lips could be opened, she said something that quickly pulled me back to the real world... "Kau boleh jawab tak?"

Huh?? Jawab apa pulak ni? Dia tak tanya apa2 pun tadi??

Then, a voice of a girl suddenly appeared from behind me... "Susah bodo!! Aku main tembak and goreng je!!"

I put all the pieces together and in seconds I figured out what's really happening... Shit, she was smiling to her friend, NOT ME... "Pami, u're a perasan bastard..." I thought to myself... With my feet just a few steps from reaching the benches, I quickly changed my path to the gents...

I just hoped she didnt noticed me grinning at her...

p/s- I was just innocently trying not to be rude... If a person smiles at u (even if he/she is a stranger), u should always smile back... The same goes when someone says "Hi" to u... U should always say "Hi" back to him/her...

:-P
