Though it didn't seem like the ones that we normally see in the movies where the beams are red or blue, it did look pretty nasty... Yeah, u might say, "Hey, that took a while to burn..." or "The crooks will surely be gone before the engine starts burning..." but bear in mind that the footage was just a TEST... It means they would totally make it better... Besides, the laser seemed invisible... The enemy wouldn't notice a thing until they smell smoke...

And just imagine if HEL is used on humans... BBQ, anyone? Dang... It's better than a flame thrower... Yeah, in the future, they would surely modify it into a mobile weapon for foot soldiers to carry... Just imagine that...
