Last week, I was given orders to stay at Primula Beach Hotel, Kuala Terengganu from 18th to 22nd March and carry out a duty as Penyemak Bahasa (language checker)... Though the stay was work related, but it really felt nice to just get away from the office for awhile and enjoy the sea breeze and sandy beach...
The picture above is the view from my room... Quite nice huh? I shared the room with a colleague of mine and damn his snores were so loud... Sleeping with him as a roommate was like sleeping beside a dragon...
During the stay, I took an hour of each day except Friday to walk along the beautiful beach because I really love to take long walks and the weather was nice...
I miss my wife and baby the most during the long walks along the beach... I really wished that they could join me... My wife and I used to walk a lot when we were both studying at UiTM Kampus Bandaraya Melaka... We went almost anywhere within Melaka City by foot and we loved it so much...
I swore to myself that once my baby is at an appropriate age, I would take him and wifey to places like beaches, zoos, Aquaria, theme parks and other interesting places... It's kinda suck to travel alone... Being able to share beautiful moments will surely bring great happiness...
The beach was alive as I saw so many happy faces playing with the waves... It's like the salty water had magical powers to turn grown ups and old people into playful children... Those who didn't mind getting wet seemed to have fun the most...
Those who refused to get wet could also have fun at the beach... There were many activities that can be done without having to get close to the sea such as flying kites, riding horses and ATV's, beach soccer, beach volleyball and etc...
Below are pictures of a group of locals pulling a boat to shore... The boat was carrying loads of fresh fish...
I left the hotel early to go see my wife and baby at Cheras... After showing good commitment to my duty as language checker, I thought I deserved to leave the place early... I asked my boss whether I could do so and she permitted it...
Drove 7 hours through the night from Kuala Terengganu to Cheras... Though it was extremely exhausting and risky, it was worth it because I got to see my lovely babies :-)
