Mr Wall

It was raining heavily outside... Sitting on a torn mattress, leaning his back against the wall in the living room, Fahmi stared at the raindrops on the glass sliding doors... He watched the drops dropped slowly leaving short traces of water on the tinted glass...
The wall spoke to him... Woke him up from his sleep... Telling him how much alike they are... Him and the wall... They are alike... Silent yet existing... Ignored but noticeable...
But no, Fahmi said... No, dear solid wall... We are different... I breathe air... You dont breathe...
The wall replied... I do breathe... Though solid I am, I have cracks... If you put your face against me, you will feel... though barely, you will feel... Feel a slight friction... Friction between your skin and the air...
Really? Fahmi disagreed in his mind... He didnt see any crack on the wall's surface... nor did he feel any slight friction as he lay his left cheek against them...
With his cheek still attached, he whispered... Wall, wall, oh solid wall... you're lying... Urghh!!
Before he could finish his sentence, the wall cracked... Fahmi pulled his cheek away and backed off...
The crack started from the point where his cheek met with the surface and slowly spread horizontally forming a straight, crooked line... The crack stopped a few millimeters from the door frame...
Now he felt it... Now he felt the friction... The friction between his skin and the air as the crack started to open and forming a big mouth-shaped hole on the wall, letting the wind from outside in...
I breathe... I breathe....... I breathe........... The wall spoke... Its voice echoed and got louder and louder... The wind coming from the hole got stronger and stronger...
No!!! Wall, wall, oh solid wall!! Stop breathing!! or you'll form a miniature cyclone in this living room!!
I breathe...... I BREATHE!!! I BREATHEEE!!! I BREATHHEEEHEEEHHEHEHE!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHAAA!!!!
:-D
