Best cake ever

Desperately looking for a new place to eat at Dataran Pahlawan, my honey daisy and I decided to try out Nadeje, the shop just beside De'Celup and Old Town Kopitiam... At first, I was doubtful because the price of food there was rather high... it almost matched the price of food at Secret Recipe...
However, after I've tasted a bite of its Berry Berry Cake, all of my doubts faded away... This cake was the best cake I've ever tasted before... Totally worth my money... U cant see it by looking at the picture as it was taken from above, but the cake was actually layered... it had fifteen to twenty thin layers and between two layers, there was sweet heavenly berry jam... Every bite gave both of us extreme satisfaction... Owh My God... It's like I can still taste it in my mouth...
Even though I'm not a baker and I've never baked before, but I can guess that it would take a long time to make it... High quality! That's why it's expensive...
Refreshments! This was my cupcake's... Cant remember the name but it was superb... Too sweet though... Cake plus this drink equals to sugar high... 3 layered drink! Hmm... This place is all about layers huh? Even my cold chocolate drink had layers!
Chocolate sauce at the bottom! Milky chocolate drink at the top... Man, we were really sugar high...
I ordered the Curry Udon... The gravy was delicious as it was kinda like soup but it tasted like curry, hence the name... There's half an egg in it, pieces of chicken and also carrots and potatoes... However, the mee was not that great as it tasted plain...
My buttercup's was indeed better than mine... Yagi Udon!! I cant describe it thoroughly here but when the plate was served, the Udon was "alive"... The steam from gravy made some of the thin ingredients (not sure what they were...) move like the tentacles of a squid... Kinda freaky yet so interesting... It tasted good too... Awesome!!
Most of the food was Japanese food... Remember to ask whether the food is halal or not before u order because most of them were mixed with alcohol... But the food and drinks above were halal~ :-D
All in all, Nadeje is a good place to eat if u're thinking of trying something new... It has WIFI so u can bring ur laptop... There are plugs for u to plug in the charger... They also serve coffee and some western food... A perfect place to hang out and chat with ur better or worse halves for it is quiet since there are not so many people go there...
Try it!
