Sometimes when I watch a very crappy movie, I ask myself, "did these people watch their own movie before releasing it?"... because if they did, they should have known how crappy the movie is and wont ever ever release it... unless they are plain stupid... or greedy...
Malaysian movie makers, prove the world that u can do better...
How come there are no Malaysian action movies? Why cant we do something like Thailand's Ong Bak? Because we dont have capable stuntmen? or is it because of budget? For me, Ong Bak didnt seem too expensive to make...
Maybe it's because our so called movie stars are all jambu and metrosexual...
Or is it because of politics instead? Or is it because of censorship issues? Hey, Remp-it and Bohsia are explicit movies, okey... and they did fine...
Aiyah... We dont have to compete with Hollywood or Bollywood... We just need to produce good movies... By good, I mean something that intrigues the mind, arouse the body... Something that I want to see twice...
Here's the movie that I want to see twice... The Expendables!
When u have a line of stars like Statham, Jet Li and Stallone, u can only expect one thing... ACTION PACKED! Yeah, muscular bodies, husky voices (except for Jet Li), cool rides, and powerful guns... We are talking heavy artillery here!
Since the movie Crank, Jason Statham has been my most favorite action movie actor... and after this (above) particular scene, I love him even more... He's the coolest!
Hell, even my girlfriend loves the movie...

ReplyDeletethe expandables actors are stiff with not interested at all movie line but it is good. enuf for me to sit and enjoy the movie. but u have to watch grown ups. two thumbs up!
