"Meet my latest crush - Zoe Saldana..."

THE STORY

Cataleya (Zoe Saldana) has only one goal in life which was to take revenge on the ones who murdered her parents... Under the guidance and protection of her uncle, Emilio Restrepo (Cliff Curtis), she grew up to be a professional killer... However, her thirst for revenge proved to be fatal for her loved ones...

Zoe Saldana

This movie only focused on one character - Cataleya - and therefore, the rise or fall of it lies on the ability of the actress on delivering a brilliant act... and Zoe Saldana didn't disappoint... In fact, she did extremely well... She's hot and she's a badass... The action scenes were superb all thanks to Zoe... She successfully portrayed the cool image of a professional women assassin... She killed swiftly and always managed to escape...

Besides being a badass, Zoe also did great in portraying the emotional conflict Cataleya had to endure... Sadness, anger, and romance... I was a smitten a bit at the ending when Cataleya phoned her love interest for maybe the last time...

The Action

Two words - action packed... This movie is all about style and not substance... Which means, it gave focus on the action rather than plot and story line... If you like Jason Statham's "The Transporter" and "The Mechanic", well, this movie is the female version of them... I'm talking about style and coolness here, not in term of story line...

The best part, Zoe Saldana was in all of the action scenes except at the beginning (when Cataleya was young)... The hottest part, Zoe Saldana did almost all the stunts in tight spandex and underwear... Like I said, she's hot and deadly... 

The coolest action scene was when Cataleya murdered a prisoner in his cell and managed to escape from being detected swiftly and unharmed... That particular scene gave me a reminiscent of "Catwoman"... I also loved the fight between Cataleya and Marco at the end... It was a bit like watching Matt Damon in action in the "Bourne" series... If u've watched that part, u would know how deadly your towel and tooth brush could be...

NOT - SO - AWESOME...

The Story

I repeat again - this movie is all about style and not substance... The story line is quite predictable and nothing fresh was shown... in simpler words - the story is typical... It would probably remind you of Natalie Portman's "The Professional"... Luckily, the action scenes successfully covered up the flaw...

Actually, all have been made clear above so I just wanna summarize - this movie is so exciting to watch because Zoe Saldana was freaking hot and awesome... That's it... Nuff said... Go watch now...
