Ramadhan is here once more and today is the first day of fasting... Maybe this time, I would be able to cut down some weight and look skinnier for Raya... Well, I hope so... Hari Raya means meeting all family members and I bet every single one of them will be commenting on how fat I look now... Most will be asking, "Kenapa gemuk sangat ni?" and often, they will answer on their own, "Mesti sebab bahagia..."... Tchh... Whatever that means...

Anyway, if I was at Terengganu right now, I would most probably be looking after the grocery store... As we all are aware of, not everyone prefers to fast... Thus, everyday through the month, there will always be people sneaking into the store, buying food and cigarette...

They are funny people... because most of them would automatically give excuses even when I'm not judging... I just give them a blank stare and they will throw away excuses such as, "Owh, I need to recharge because I'm working..." or "I'm really really sick..." or the most pathetic one, "This is for my sister..."

One thing I don't get is why must they buy food during the day... They could just buy bread, drinks and cigarette at night and have them all the next day... I guess they're too dumb to think of that... 

Ramadhan also marks the start of war at my place... There will always be fireworks... and when there are fireworks, it will always be noisy... Bang bang boom boom... 

The most exciting war of fireworks I've ever seen was during my second semester of pre-degree at Lendu... It was chaotic... Right after sahur and break fast, the boys would run around, blowing up firecrackers and shooting rockets at each other... It kinda got out of hand when one of the rockets accidentally went through a window and burned the curtains... However, the fire managed to be put out before it got worse... It was totally memorable...

Anyway, I wanna wish Happy Fasting to those who care enough to read my humble blog... Thanks for reading and I hope this Ramadhan brings nothing but luck and prosperity to u and ur family... :-)
