The reason I went to watch this movie is because the trailer was so damn funny and there's Jennifer Aniston in it... and by the way, spoiler alert!

THE STORY

Three best friends, Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) had something in common - they all wanted their bosses dead... The reason for such sinister thought was because the bosses were extreme jerks... However, being just ordinary men who were incapable of hurting people, they resorted to finding a hitman for the job... Having zero knowledge on how to hire one, they ended up doing the killings themselves... Things didn't go as planned though and it landed them into all sorts of trouble such as being suspects for murder by the police and being hunted down by one the bosses...

The Horrible Bosses

I quite enjoy watching the bosses giving hell to everybody... Well, some of the acts were rather ridiculous but they're awesomely funny... For instance, the part when Kurt's boss wanna fire fat people... That was hilarious... and also the part when Nick's boss promoted himself... EPIC

Jennifer Aniston stole the thunder from everyone... She was both awesomely funny and extremely sexy... Too bad most of her acts were cut out because she was playing "Dr. Sex Crazy"... So, Malaysians, for better viewing, u gotta download this movie... Don't bother watching in the cinema...

Though the main cast, Bateman, Day and Sudeikis gave quite a good show, without the brilliant performance of Aniston, Spacey and Farrell (the three horrible bosses), this movie would have been a failure...

THE HORRIBLE ONES

Censorship

Most of the jokes didn't work because parts of them were cut out... I felt so cheated and I wanted my money back... The Malaysian censorship board did a really sloppy job... They managed to censor most of the vulgar words but some of them they didn't bother removing... It ruined the movie for me...

Predictable Plot

The story line were quite predictable... I knew that Nick would be dreaming of punching his boss about the promotion issue... I could guess that his boss would kill Kurt's boss out of false jealousy... I predicted that Kurt would screw up with the tape recorder during the murder confession time... The story was rather direct and lack of surprises... However, the abundance of jokes made up for it...

IN A NUT SHELL

What made Horrible Bosses so funny is the three horrible bosses... Like I said before, those three were the ones who won the most laughs from the audience instead of the three main casts... The plot was rather straight forward and the story was not quite inspirational though it's about surviving work but I didn't really care for them because I was watching solely for the laughs... I did laugh quite hard during some of the scenes and that made me appreciate the movie as something worth watching... You know what else was worth watching? Jennifer Aniston wearing a doctor coat...
