I know most of the movie lovers out there are anticipating Sucker Punch which is scheduled to rock the cinemas this month... Besides that, Battle: Los Angeles and The Adjustment Bureau have been given so much attention... Not to mention, our very own local Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa is given the spotlight also... Well, I'm all excited about those movies too and I can't wait to see them... I hope I got enough time to watch all of them... Hmm...
Well, now there's another reason to be excited about...
The first trailer of Conan the Barbarian has been released!
Yeah, all of you youngsters must be wondering,
"Conan the what??!!"
"What the hell are u excited about??!"
I'm excited because I used to love Conan the Barbarian! The upcoming one is a remake of the original which was first released in 1982... Yeah, that's kinda ancient... I used to watch the television series every week when I was in school... It's a true cult hit...
Jason Momoa from Hawaii is mostly known as a television actor... You might be familiar with him if u're into Baywatch (1999 - 2001)... He also acted in Stargate Atlantis (2005 - 2009)... Will he be able to be great Conan? I'm not pretty sure... We'll just have to wait to find out...
Anyway, the movie is scheduled to hit the cinemas in August... What to expect? It's a tale of an ancient warrior dealing with sorceries and brutal battles of swords... I guess it will be a barbaric version of Prince of Persia...
The original Conan was acted by Arnold Schwarzenegger...
Now that Arnie is busy being the governator, Jason Momoa has taken his spot as the new Conan...
